The Porter County Bar Association is a public benefit corporation organized to promote the science of jurisprudence, promote reforms in the law, facilitate the administration of justice, elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession, discourage and prohibit the illegal and unethical practice of law, cherish the spirit of brotherhood among the members of the legal profession, and to create a closer relationship among other professions and businesses closely associated to the legal profession and all whom its members are called upon to deal with in a close relation.

The PCBA is a not-for-profit corporation organized under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
